Nikol Whitten

Nikol Whitten is from a suburb just south of Birmingham, Alabama, and is a proud graduate of Auburn University (War Eagle!) where she earned a B.A. in Psychology.  She currently works as a project manager for a large bank.  Always up for something new, Nikol had a minor lapse in sanity several years ago where she participated in an obsessive compulsive sport known as triathlon.  She even went as far as completing a half-ironman where she swam 1 ½ miles, biked 56 miles and ran 13.1 miles.   Following some (okay, severe) burn-out and a moment of clarity, she hung up her bike and is now fully rehabilitated.

Being blessed with the gift of gab and a knack for telling stories, Nikol’s personality and giggles are infectious in groups, particularly among her sisters in Christ.  Among people, she craves transparency, laughs regularly, and is not afraid to admit to her silliness.  Case in point, she loves “all things deemed awesome.”

These days, most of her free time is spent working on creative projects, studying the Bible, serving in the drama ministry at her church, and talking (faithful to be a steward of her spiritual gift of gab).  Nikol also has a heart for the homeless and believes it is our duty as Christians to be the hands and feet of Christ. She grew up in church and became a Christian when she was seven years old.
