Yesterday, we heard about three more plagues God sent because of Pharaoh’s stubbornness: A plague against livestock, boils, and hail. Let’s continue in Exodus chapter 10.
Reflection Questions
- Recap the story in your own words.
- We’ve been through 9 plagues: The Nile turned to blood, Frogs came up from the waters, Gnats came up from the dust of the earth, Flies attacked the Egyptians, a plague killed Egyptian livestock, festering boils irritated and tortured the Egyptians, hail destroyed everything belonging to the Egyptians, locusts devoured all the Egyptian crops, and a thick darkness covered the land. What does Pharaoh’s refusal to surrender, to listen to Moses’s counsel, and to save his people and his land, tell you about who he is?
- Has your stubbornness towards God or others led you on a path of destruction? How do you think you need to respond?
